早(zao)期的P-Q控(kong)制器(qi)稱(cheng)作可(ke)編(bian)程(cheng)邏輯(ji)控(kong)制器(qi)(Programmable Logic Controller),簡稱(cheng)PLC,它主(zhu)要用(yong)來(lai)代(dai)替(ti)繼(ji)電器(qi)實現(xian)邏輯(ji)控(kong)制。隨著技術(shu)的發(fa)展,這(zhe)種(zhong)裝(zhuang)置的功(gong)能(neng)已(yi)經大大超(chao)過(guo)了邏輯(ji)控(kong)制的範(fan)圍(wei),因(yin)此(ci),今(jin)天(tian)這種(zhong)裝(zhuang)置稱(cheng)作P-Q控(kong)制器(qi),簡稱(cheng)PC。但是(shi)為了避(bi)免(mian)與(yu)個(ge)人(ren)計(ji)算機(ji)(Personal Computer)的簡稱(cheng)混(hun)淆(xiao),所(suo)以將P-Q控(kong)制器(qi)簡稱(cheng)PLC。
P-Q控(kong)制器(qi)簡稱(cheng)PC(英(ying)文全(quan)稱(cheng):Programmable Controller),它經(jing)歷(li)了(le)可(ke)編(bian)程(cheng)序(xu)矩(ju)陣控(kong)制器(qi)PMC、可(ke)編(bian)程(cheng)序(xu)順序(xu)控(kong)制器(qi)PSC、可(ke)編(bian)程(cheng)序(xu)邏輯(ji)控(kong)制器(qi)PLC(英(ying)文全(quan)稱(cheng):Programmable Logic Controller)和可(ke)編(bian)程(cheng)序(xu)控(kong)制器(qi)PC幾(ji)個不(bu)同(tong)時(shi)期。為(wei)與(yu)個(ge)人(ren)計(ji)算機(ji)(PC)相(xiang)區(qu)別,現(xian)在仍然(ran)沿(yan)用(yong)可(ke)編(bian)程(cheng)邏輯(ji)控(kong)制器(qi)這個(ge)老(lao)名(ming)字。
PLC用(yong)軟件代(dai)替(ti)大量的中(zhong)間(jian)繼(ji)電器(qi)和時(shi)間(jian)繼(ji)電器(qi),僅剩(sheng)下與(yu)輸(shu)入(ru)和輸(shu)出(chu)有關(guan)的少(shao)量硬件,接(jie)線(xian)可(ke)減(jian)少到(dao)繼(ji)電器(qi)控(kong)制系(xi)統(tong)的1/10~1/100,因(yin)觸點(dian)接(jie)觸不(bu)良(liang)造(zao)成(cheng)的故障大為(wei)減(jian)少。
高(gao)可(ke)靠性(xing)是電(dian)氣(qi)控(kong)制設備的關(guan)鍵性(xing)能(neng)。PLC由於采(cai)用(yong)現(xian)代(dai)大規模(mo)集(ji)成電(dian)路(lu)技術(shu),采(cai)用(yong)嚴(yan)格的生(sheng)產工藝(yi)制(zhi)造(zao),內(nei)部(bu)電路(lu)采取了(le)*抗(kang)幹(gan)擾技術(shu),具(ju)有很(hen)高(gao)的可(ke)靠性(xing)。例如(ru)三菱公(gong)司(si)生產的F系(xi)列PLC平(ping)均(jun)*時(shi)間(jian)高(gao)達30萬小時(shi)。壹些(xie)使(shi)用(yong)冗(rong)余CPU的PLC的平(ping)均(jun)*工作時(shi)間(jian)則(ze)更(geng)長(chang)。從(cong)PLC的機(ji)外電路(lu)來(lai)說,使(shi)用(yong)PLC構成控(kong)制系(xi)統(tong),和同(tong)等規模(mo)的繼(ji)電接(jie)觸器(qi)系(xi)統(tong)相(xiang)比(bi),電(dian)氣(qi)接(jie)線(xian)及開(kai)關接(jie)點(dian)已(yi)減(jian)少到(dao)數(shu)百(bai)甚(shen)至數(shu)千(qian)分之(zhi)壹,故障也就大大降(jiang)低。此(ci)外,PLC帶有硬件故障自我檢(jian)測功能(neng),出(chu)現故障時(shi)可(ke)及時(shi)發(fa)出(chu)警報(bao)信(xin)息。在應用(yong)軟件中(zhong),應用(yong)者(zhe)還(hai)可(ke)以編(bian)入(ru)外圍(wei)器(qi)件的故障自診斷(duan)程序(xu),使(shi)系(xi)統(tong)中除(chu)PLC以外的電(dian)路(lu)及設備也獲(huo)得(de)故障自診斷(duan)保(bao)護。這樣(yang),整(zheng)個(ge)系(xi)統(tong)具有*的可(ke)靠性(xing)也就不奇(qi)怪了(le)。
